    Head unit upgrade Polk to JL audio 2014 g25

    Hello. I am upgrading my head unit to a JL mm50 like in the newer boats. Is there a software upgrade that will support controlling the JL unit through the LINC system?

      I see the retro fit instructions for a 2016 model for LINC touch. Does anyone know if you can upgrade the 2014 software to support the JL audio stereo Unit?

              I believe dealers can through a soft ware update. no idea if it applies to '14.

              note: the JL system in boats in the MM100-BE, not an MM50 as stated above. The 100 has no internal amplifier, so all speakers must be connected to an amplifier

                  Did you get any answers on this? Were you able to make it work? I'm about to replace my headunit with the new MM105 and wondering if I'll be able to connect to LINC.
