    Horn speaker light

I have horn speakers on a 2014 SAN 230 and the light does not switch on located at the bottom of the speaker. The speaker itself works fine otherwise. Is it possible to source replacement bulbs for this?

There are two rows of LED lights in there - one in each of the narrower lenses and the larger lense simply illuminates from them. I would suspect it is something other than all of the bulbs. My guess is that the bulbs are fine - they are just not getting power Click image for larger version

My guess is that a connection came un-soldered. I had this happen and was able to solder the wire back on. Kind of a weak connection imo, for a speaker rigidly mounted to the tower.

I can't remember, I want to say the LED light boards had a square drive.... Do not over tighten them.

I believe it is a combination of allen and phillips to get the cans apart. From my picture above, it appears that the light boards are a square / phillips combo. When mine were not working, it was actually the push button switch on the bottom in the middle of the tower. Trace your power to find out where / why the lights aren't getting power.

allen and phillips head hardware on these. Light board pins frequently break at the connector. put 12vdc on the power and grounds and press down on the connectors. if they light up you have a break. it happens frequently on these enclosures. If you've taken it apart and the speakers aren't doing well, now would be the time to replace with Wet Sounds REV696RS
