2017 gs20 polk audio pa4a

i have a 2017 gs20 with the polk pa4a stereo system. it was working fine when i took it to the dealer. they replaced the linc screen because it had a bubble in it but now my stereo just says "stereo booting" on the linc screen but never comes on. I know there is power to the amp but what polk calls the "commander" in the glove box is not coming on- at least there is no display. Funny how it was working before the new linc install but not after. any ideas? thanks

I wonder if its loaded with the new software to accommodate the JL MM100.

i asked the dealer that but they dont know and dont want to find out unless i bring it in for diagnosis- they had my boat for almost 2 months last fall and told me they would have it for 10 days max. still finding things that dont work now that worked before

Quick update after troubleshooting. If I disconnect the Linc, I can get the Commander to work. The wired remote in the transom doesn't work though. As soon as I plug the Linc back in, everything hangs up again, and the Commander is barely responsive.

Sorry, I know this was an old thread, but it's the only website that comes up on Google when I search for "Nautique" "stereo booting"..

yes the dealer put in the wrong linc screen. but even after that it randomly turns off and the bluetooth disconnects. I am sure it is a software issue but waiting for an update. soory it took so long to reply

Disconnecting from BT is a known problem with the Polk head units. Mine has done that since I bought the boat.
