    JL Audio MMR-40 Remote / 2013 SAN230

I am replacing my headunit with new JL Audio MM105. It will be located in the original Polk head unit location (glove box). I'm considering mounting the MMR-40 remote (fully replicates head unit screen and controls) somewhere in/around the dash pod.

Yes... I am aware of the smaller circular remote that would be easier to put in a couple locations. But I am trying to get rid of my phone all together while in the driver's seat so I want the full screen to navigate playlists, control the zone volumes, etc.

Wondering if anyone has done anything like this or some other solution for giving driver full controls of MM100/105 head unit from drivers seat. Crude drawings of what I am talking about...

Sorry, I don't have any solutions. But I will say that the upper position looks a lot cleaner in my opinion. Hope it goes well and can't wait to see what you do. I'm going to be working on upgrading the entire audio system in my '02 210SANTE this winter, so I'll have some questions like this coming soon.

I like the top left. Any issues connecting the new radio to Linc2? I’m about to put in a fusion 770.

I went with the lower location. The shop made a perfect replacement for the little inset that was original in that spot. It looks really good. The boat is out at the lake in the lift and I don't have a picture.

the stereo no longer has any integration with the Linc system. But having an actual knob and all the controls at my finger tips is way better than navigating back to the stereo controls on the Linc screen
