2014 SN OB Team - add subwoofer and heated passenger seat?

    Hi - two questions -

    1. my boat has the stock stereo with no sub. I’ve been in two other SN OB’s (2011 and 2018) that have the sub and it’s a big difference. Does anyone know the stock sub size along with the amp? Easy to connect to the stock stereo?

    2. my boat has a heated drivers seat but no heated passenger seat. There is an option in the display to turn on the passenger seat heater but it doesn’t let me access it as I don’t have a pad in the seat. Any suggestions on what pads to buy (EBay seems best) and can I control it from the display or would I need to add a switch? The drivers seat also doesn’t seem to get that hot?? Any thoughts?

for a 2014, the OEM woofer would have been a 10". likely a Polk MM 4 ohm installed in a gunwale infinite-baffle style. The amp was likely a polk 5 chnl amp. This amp would have also powered the cabin speakers. So, my first advise, dont go looking to copy the OEM. You have a blank slate to do a much better setup.

It’s actually on the bulkhead (passenger side) between the bow and the jump seat. It could even be a 12” as it seems big. I just want it to be at minimum as good as the stock system
