Hello fellow Nautique Fans,
this year i managed to get out on the lake again with our old lady.
Everything works fine except the audio.
When it was delivered we had the factory clarion radio installed. After some years i switched to another radio.
Also a Clarion unit. Now I switched this one for a new Bluetooth radio because i want to play some spotify.
So here i ran into some issues.
The radio i pulled out was directly hooked to the battery -which is not ideal
Now i want to install it the right way so that the radio only turns on if the battery switch is on / shuts off when i kill the battery switch.
There must be some kind of control or start cable to let the radio know when to start.
Unfortunately i dont know which one that is. (yellow?)
Or how they installed the factory Clarion radio so that it would only start if the battery switch is on.
There was a connector with 3 cables (red,black and yellow) in the area where the amp is installed - i connected the wires with the radio but nothing happend.
i will make some pictures tomorrow.
