Paragon Stereo Tuning with Wakesub

Anyone have details on how the paragon stereo system is setup? My stereo is not sounding as good after a head unit replacement and I wanted to try to adjust gains. Used the JL TuN software and plugged in the the amps and found everything pretty much just set flat and no crossovers. Seems like kind of a waste of some of the best stereo technology.

Is there anything published out there about which amp controls which speakers and is controlled by which controller and what crossovers and gains should be?

Mostly what I get from dealers is just use the linc screen and leave it alone but I’m not that kind of person. I want to understand how it’s all working.

The TUN project file is preloaded in LINC and, IMHO, JL/Nautique did a good job with the tuning. It's definitely not flat. If you go to the settings menu, there should be an option to configure the amps. It could be it's in the dealer menu section, but I don't think so--though I can't remember for sure.

Sounds like that's the screen I need to find. I would like to at least see how it's setup and be able to adjust.

However, I did find a bad tower speaker last night. If I turn the wake channel off it sounds spectacular again. I think that is my problem.

To tune the amps you will need to link into them with a laptop or order the Bluetooth adapter from JL audio.

I am going to get the speaker replaced then try it again.

I did plug into the amp with the laptop and it showed the existing tune just a flat tune and no crossovers set.

The amps are all networked to somewhere, but I did not see a JL processor. I guess it's coming from the linc.

They are networked to a processor that is located behind the passenger bow backrest. I put on a blue tooth adaptor so I can tune with my tablet. If your completely flat and the cross over pointd are not set someone did a factory reset on the system. If you need I should have the paragon settings on my boat. You can put in multiple tuning options so make sure you are on the correct tab.
