Upgrading 2011 210 Stereo to new stuff (LINC integration)

Has anyone on here changed from the Clarion head unit to either JL or Fusion and if so were you able to get LINC integration for control and speed sensitive volume?

The Clarion Stereo interface is proprietary and completely different than JL or Fusion. So it's not going to work. On MasterCraft boats you can switch to later firmware on the HV700 based screens. But I don't think that'll work on Nautique.

If you're not aware. Both Nautique and MasterCraft use the same basic screen hardware made by Enovation Controls. It's just different firmware running on the screens with different button / touch options in some cases.

Ok. Thank you for the reply and info. I am pretty green when it comes to the boat electronic systems. Integration isn't a necessity, but I was curious if there was a way to make it work.

Some of the later Nautique's used Polk audio head units. I still think it It'll be hard to get anything other than Clarion to work with your screen, but Polk may be possible depending on the version of LINC screen.

If you get a chance, post a picture of your LINC screen. I'm more familiar with the LINC used in this timeframe of the Nautique 200. Which was still LINC 1.0 in 2011. But your boat may be the first model with the LINC 2.0 screen. If that's the case, then more options may be possible. But I thought LINC 2.0 didn't come out until 2012.

Yeah, I’m sorry. I realize I left that critical part out. My boat does have LINC 2.0 and I do have NSS on it. It was one of the first ‘11’s to have the capability of adding NSS when it came out in 2012. The picture isn’t great. It you can see the screen.

you should be able to install a clarion m608 with four zone control and keep the LINC screen abilities. I've done it several times. keeps remotes too. but just a FYI, clarion marine remotes and source units that fit that din and a half size are no longer being made and are legacy products. Since JL Audio's take over of clarion marine equipment, they are no longer being supported.

Also Clarion CMS5 works fine with Linc 2.0 and adds Bluetooth + 4 Zones
