Clarion CMD4 Remote Amp Turn On Question

I picked up an Audiocontrol ACX-BT1 bluetooth unit to plug into the aux inputs on the Clarion CMD4 in my 2006 Nautique.

The bluetooth unit has a blue wire for remote amp turn-on. The CMD4 has a blue/white wire for remote amp turn-on.

I would like to have the bluetooth unit turn the CMD4 system on.

My guess is that both wires are there to turn on downstream amps, and not for peer-level two-way communication between the units?

The blue wire is a simple 12VDC on/off wire. That's it. It's only a trigger to tell the amps to turn themselves on.
