    Stereo setup question

Could I get some feedback/input on this setup that I have drawn out below? I'm not even close to being an expert at any stereo setup, so I hope that I can get some audiophile's to let me know if there are any problems with the way that I have drawn out the diagram.

Basically, I'm running off of the XMD3, PPI PAR-650 Preamp, MTX 942 Amp (2-channel for tower speakers), MTX 564 (4-channel for interior speakers), Polk MM2104DVC subwoofer, MTX 801D (Mono amp for Sub).

I would like to have the 4-channel setup in the interior, so would it be a bad idea to set up the system with the Front outputs split - so the signal ends up going to both the Tower amp and interior speaker amp?

To simplify the drawing, I didn't put in the sub or amp for it - the Preamp has a sub output so it will run directly off of that.

I plan on controlling the level of the tower speakers by way of the MTX EBC level control (basic turn knob).

All of the lines are RCA cables, with the exception of the lines going to the speakers.

So, will this work or no? I would appreciate any help.
    Thanks much.

    RE: Stereo setup question

I also answered you post on WW.

Run the front output to the boat amp and the rear output to the tower amp. I might consider switching the amps bridging the 4 channel to the tower and running the 4 boat speakers on the 2 channel amp. This will load the amps up to their optimal output. Do you really need fading in the boat?

      RE: Stereo setup question

I'm with Mikeski. Run your interior speakers of the 2ohm stable 2 channel amp. And in your front radio output.
Connect the rear radio output to the tower amp and bridge the 4 channels to 2.
Seems like a good setup then.

I've posted this on other sites too, but I figure it would be a nice addition to the site here. This is basically the finalized schematic of the whole system - I may go with a different setup in terms of the solenoid (may be a isolator/combiner), but you get the general idea.

Note that the head unit is not connected to the dashboard distrobution block any more.

Looks good, might want to consider a combiner so the relay does not connect the dead stereo battery to the starting battery during the start cycle? Look for a Yandina C150 or bigger.
