Looking 4 Raido Cover (Side Dash)

Hey Ill explain what im looking 4.

I remember seeing a cover that went over the radio on the driver’s side dash. It was covered in the same gray vinyl and it was curved to match and cover the radio. It was on the earlier Nautiques like 2000 and 2001 models. It had a hinge on it and it would flap over the radio and cover it.

I’m looking to get a Non Marine CD player and mount it in the factory location. So I need to find some kind of way of keeping water off it.
All the aftermarket covers look kind of weird IMO and this factory cover seems to cover the CD player all the time.

If you know some one that’s selling one or where I can find one that would be great. Either that or I can make one but I thought I try here first

I had to replace the radio cover on my 2000 Sport. I ordered it through Mid-Ohio a couple of years ago. The new cover really did not fit as well as the original. I agree that most of the aftermarket covers don't look right. I am thinking about replacing it with something like this.

The one linked above looks similar, if not identical, to the one I purchased from my local nautique dealer a few years ago for my 93 MC. I was told then that the parts were the same between the two brands. It appeared to be the same as the one I had.

You can sort of see it in this picture. Sorry I don't have a better shot.

anyone have anymore info on this? I called my local dealer and they said that they had a factory cover that had no vinyl on it. They were asking like $125 for it

I can take some detailed pics for you of mine if you want to try and make one but I have no clue where to find one... I don't thing the cover is going to be hard to make but the hinge they use is pretty original. I wonder if you can order just a hinge and make one out of carbon fiber like Sinkouman said, that would look sweet!

I believe the 2nd one down is the same cover that CC used.

I still havent found a radio cover that I like yet, and Ive got a big hole in my dash to fill. These 2 styles of covers are the only ones Ive found anywhere. If you end up making something sleeker, please let me know!

I think you are reffering to the cover that malibu has been using. It is kind of an arm rest that covers the radio. A former neighbor of mine has a sunsetter, and it has that type of radio cover over it.

AG4EVER: Yes the Raido / Armrest cover is what Im looking 4. I want to see a CC one before I decide to make my own.
