    Subwoofer and Amp help

I am looking to add a sub or two to my sv211. I do not know a thing about stereo equipment. There is such a varation of prices and types of the equipment, I have no idea where to start. I would like to stay around $400 for amp and sub(s). I want something that is power efficient and reliable. Can anyone offer some good insight on what I should pickup?

im hooking up this in my 1994 ski nautique cb this saturday...should hit pretty **** hard.......all marine grade is the biggest thing

4= polk audio db 6.5" insides powered by.125.00
    1 bazooka maa460 4 channel amp 137.00
    1 polk audio 12"dvc db sub 60.00
    1 sealed .88 cubic ft box -35.00
    1 polk momo sub grill-20.00
1 bazooka ma1500 monoblock amp to drive sub 99.00
    1 perko swtich-23.00
1 set of rca cables 17'-17.00
    5 pack of fuses-100 amp 5.00
1 fuse holder 8.00..........................all new in box etc....i also have friends in the trade who hooked me up with 100 feet of 14/2 speaker wire, 80 feet of 6 gauge, 80 feet of 8 gauge, 50 feet of 3 gauge, ring terminals tapes etc.........if you have to buy the wires and electrical parts that itself is very expensive........i got everything above for around i think 525(never added it up, feel free to)...im also lucky to have 2 brand new batterys from last summer to use with the perko(always kept one on charge at the pad).......do your homework, look at ebay......cardomain.com onlinecarstereo.com.crutchfield.com i bought everything online, much cheaper than your local caraudio store.......400.oo is plenty of money for a good sounding system

      Here are mine...

I might rebuild the rear seat to go completely across the back and install two 12's in it, someday.
