    Ideal Speaker Set-up

    A couple of issues I want to address;
    1. I plan on getting 4 new cockpit speakers, either the Polk mmc650's, or the Polk mmc690's. I've heard great reviews on both, does anyone here have experience hearing one over the other in a boat?

    2. My other dilemma, is tower speakers. I have decided on getting one pair of NVS Entity 1010's, but am concerned that while swimming behind the boat, the music will be sent across the lake. To any of you that have the NVS, or the Wetsounds 480, how do they sound in the water behind the boat.

    Or...should I mount a pair of Polk MOMO 6x9 tower speakers on either side of the NVS for that?

    Thanks in advance!

    If you're worried about the tower speakers being to loud when you when you're swimming, just buy a preamp that you can fade the speakers in and out without affecting the interior speaker volume.

      You're absolutely right, I plan on installing an AudioControl Matrix Pre-Amp Line Driver, so I will have full control of volume output levels. What I was worried about was the volume just flying over our heads while we were swimming.
