Any one know how to get these out? The back of the speaker is touching the hull and I can't figure out how to get the speaker pod out. The speaker pod appears to be attached to the vinyl seat backs, but the seat backs seem to be put in with screws and I can't figure out how to get them out either.

I can't imagine how this speaker is putting out to it's full potential with the rubber surround mashed against the fiberglass like that. I was thinking of just cutting the cone out with a knife and then clipping the basket out with a pair of pliars and just taking the speaker out piece by piece. I guess I need to make sure the new speaker will fit depthwise first.
The speaker in the kick panel under the dash was mounted the same way - pinned against the panel so the cone couldn't move properly. No wonder those clarion speakers sounded like crap.
