Clarion Wired Remote in 196 SE

I promise I searched before asking this question, but didn't find anything. I'd be surprised if this hasn't been covered though.

I'm looking at both the 196 SE and LE models. Is there an reasably accessable alternative mounting location for the wired clarion remote if I go with the SE and add options. Stock location for the remote in the LE is apparently where they put the ignition in the SE.

Or if I'm planning to go with the Excalibur engine and stereo 1 package anyway, am I really saving any money not going with the LE to begin with?

If anyone has pictures of the wired remote on an SE, if you could post them, that'd be great.

    Thanks!

I have the non-lcd clarion remote mounted in the pocket under the throttle. I'll try and get you a shot.

Thanks, looking forward to seeing it. Did it come installed from the factory or did you install it yourself?

Thanks Mike. That looks like just the ticket. Hope he's still making them by the time I have a boat to put it in.
