    Stereo without the receiver

I'm looking to put a Stereo in my 2000SN. Don't use radio or Cds anymore. Is there any way to drive an MD or MP3 player through speakers and Sub using the volumne controls on the Player without a receiver?

    Look at Grant's setup.

I think he has inputs on a eq that allows him to run his system off his I-Pod, and by-passes his head unit.

It's possible. Just use the pre-amp input into your crossover (if you have an electronic) or equalizer. Only thing you'll need is a remote turn on to your amps.
