wattage on standard 6 polk momo speaker setup

anyone know the wattage per speaker on the SAN 210 6 speaker setup? obviously the stereo is the only thing powering all 6 speaks, but curious as to how much they can handle if I add an amp.

I believe that they are the Polk MMC650s, which handle 80w continuous.

I run a 4x100 to mine, but I use the crossover to kill the bass frequencies. Third season in this configuration, no issues so far.

seems these speakers are very underpowered by the clarion deck. How do i hook up all 6 speakers to an amp? Would i put 3 on one channel and 3 on the the other, and then bridge sub woofer speaker wires on the other two channels?

What year boat is this? - Is that a factory sub you are connecting to the system? - Three speakers on one channel is not going to be a good idea - take a kicker 650.4 for example - you can parallel two of the polk speakers onto one channel - polks a 4ohm each - two of these would be 2ohms - so you could get 170 per channel - enough off of one channel for the two - this could be done twice for a total of 4 speakers connected - you can bridge two channels and coneect a 4 ohm sub and get 325 watts at the 4ohms for the sub - still leaves the two bow speakers - either connect to head unit as CC has done or purchase a small two channel amp

This is a 2005. So you are saying get a 4 channel amp, Connect 2 of the polk momos to one channel, connect 2 more to the other channel, then bridge a sub on the other 2 channels. Then purchase a 2 channel amp and connect one more polk momo to one channel, and the last polk momo to the other channel? I have read its a good idea to get a spare battery and hook the hot cable up to that for powering the amps. Are you running your amps off your main battery? Where have y'all mounted the amps/put the sub? Did you get marine audio equipment or does it matter?

I heard putting 2 speakers on one channel will bring them unsafe ohm levels. Do you have this config now? If so, any issues?

two 4ohm speakers in parallel will be a 2 ohm load at the amp - you need to match the amp to the load - the same two speakers wired in series will become an 8 ohm load - Currently I have Factory 480 clarion amp running 4 speakers the factory clarion 240 running the two bow speakers - a kicker 750.1 running a solobaric 12 and a kicker 850.4 running two NVS Entity Tower speakers - all amps are mounted under the passenger seat in the factory location the sub box as well - the sub amp is mounted to the back of the sub box - factory wiring for the clarion speakers - new 12volt and ground wiring for each of the two kickers - two factory batteries - sytem will run off batteries for at least two hours at fairly loud levels without a hesatation at startup time.
