I recently purchased a factory polk sub and 240 and 480 amps. Is there anyone who has a schematic for installation. I want to run the stock cabin polks off the 480 and the sub off the 240. Thanks

well, no matter what u do, unless u add another amp ur sub will be underpowered........
i personally would run the 4 speakers off of the 480, use the 240 for the tower speakers and buy a mono amp for the sub.....
but, u can wire each pair of cabin speakers in parallel (this is assuming that they are 4ohm) and run them off of each channel of the 240.
then wire ur tower speakers and sub to the 480. how many tower speakers are u wanting to run? if its just 2 then wire each one to a channel on the 480. if its 4, then wire each pair in parallel and power them from 2 channels on the 480.
i'm not sure whether or not ur sub is a dvc or svc do u know? it would be great if it was a dvc, then u could wire it in parallel and bridge the remaining channels on the amp to power it. if its a svc, u can't get it down to 2ohms, so u will get half of the power that u can get with the dvc wired to 2ohms

My 05' 206TE came from the factory with the 480 pushing the sub and 4 cabin speakers, bow speakers were wired directly to the deck. Sounded good unless turned way up and the bow speakers would tend to distort.

OK, I think I have it. The 480 is stereo stable at 2 ohms. The polk cabin speakers are 4 ohms, when in parallel they would be two ohms.
The Sub is a polk 650 @4 ohms, the 480 is 4 ohm mono stable. So bridge the 3&4 ch and have sufficient power for the sub @4 ohms. When I am ready to do the tower use the 280 2 channel. Does this sound good?

It's a 280 not 240 right?
The 480 is really just a pair of 280's so you essentially have three identical amps. Run one pair of channels to the boat, another pair of channels to the tower, and bridge the third to the sub. It doesn't really matter what goes to what, the results will be the same. It's OK to run all four cabin speakers off two amp channels. I would also recomment enabling the crossover's, highpass at 100 to the boat & tower, lowpass at 80 to the sub.

Check out the sticky at the top of this forum. There are pdf files for all the head units, it might help you out a little.
