what will fit???

I have a 2001 pro air and i am sick of the old speakers in the boat, which i believe are 5 1/4" i was thinking about just replacing them with polk momo 5 1/4 but i thought that those were a little too small. Can i fit 6 1/2" speakers in there, each one of the speakers has its own can like thing in the back of it so i dont know what i would have to do to make them fit

The speakers are 6 1/2", not 5 1/4".
