    What amps should i use

i am going to be installing polk mmc 650's in all four corners and then have two mmc 650''s on the tower and a polk momo 10'' sub. what amp/amps should i run and how would you recommend i channel them up/ the tower and sub on one amp and the other 4 on a different amp??

easiest way is to get a 4 channel for the 650s in all four corners.
you can then get another 4 channel that is 3-way mode compatible; 2 channels up to the 650s, and the other tow bridged to push the sub.

personally, i'd get a nice 4 channel for the four corners, a 2 channel for the 650s on the tower, and a dedicated sub amp.

as far a brands go, unless you are a true audiophile, just about anything will work that puts out good RMS power. Yes some amps are way better than others, but out on the water, you'll lose the ability to hear the finer details of your music. I've used marine amps and regular car amps, both with success. Just buy what you can afford!

and don't skimp on some nice wire!
