Tower Speakers in the way on SV-211 TE

Any ideas on Boozooka Speaker placement on a 2007 SV-211 TE. I just picked up the boat on Friday and we were on the boat all weekend. I bet I banged my head at least 10 times on those two speakers. Any ideas on what options I have. I am sure this is an old post, but I am a new Nautique owner. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Get a bimini and put it below the speakers, that's what works on mine.

Mounted our speakers on the front cross bar of the tower (not the back as most do). The mount on the cans is in the middle of the can not the end as most are. Mounting them on the from allows the rearopen area of the interior to stay open and free front overhead obstacles. You can still bonk your coconut but it's not as easy. Putting up the Bimini helps too as everyone knows there's a big black thing above them.

        Take them off?

Evolution. If you can't figure out how to duck underneath them get rid of them. It's not like the speaker is moving around and seeking out your head.

I should also mention I have Wetsounds speakers in a plastic case with no sharp corners, so they don't hurt your head.

Hollywood definitely isn't a 12 year old, he's just brutally honest, which I think is a good thing. After banging the noggin several times, I'm sure you can figure out a solution....it's not like there's many of them. I'm with Mikeski on this....install a bimini and you won't notice that they are there!

The purpose of this forum is to share information from the collective, not flame back and forth. You would think that anyone who owns a Correct Craft would have more class but there is always one Prick in the group. I plan on moving the speakers this weekend to the side of the tower. This should work. Thank you for your response Andrew, and MHayes.

Its a fun informative website about boats not Dear Abby, guys have personalities, some better than others. Besides, Hollywood has a degree from the bobchris school of boating advice.

I banged my head several times shortly after adding tower speakers. I solved the prob using Mikeskis resolution. I never bump into the bimini and now the only thing that gets banged in the boat is....Nicole.
