    new 211 owner

well i picked up my 211te on friday after it made it's journey from SECC in orlando to the CC dealer in atlanta. SECC had a green and black one and we had to have that color. I have owned two prior inboard boats, first a 2005 moomba outback and a 2006 Supra 21v that i still have for sale! The 211 comfort, looks, ride, handling, and overall consensus is it is one **** of a boat amongst my normal users.
This boat is the plushest and smoothest ride i have experienced yet. what other boat can someone ride a 70' rope and land base inverts, then switch and ski 32 at 15 off, i am quite impressed with that and that is the reason we bought it.

My only complaints thus far is with the stereo, i switched out the two clarion amps with two kicker amps on friday. my supra had deafcon III's with kicker cabn speakers and i had a kicker sx900.4 pushing them and it sounded great, the nautique sounds good but not as good with that amp in it. is there anyway to fade the tower speakers to be louder than the cabins? I had this done on my old rig but the stereo shop did it. I also traded out the sub amp to a Kicker ZX400.1 and it sounds great. I bought a 7' ipod adapter cable from Monster and would like to run it through the hull to the drivers side and install a mount on it by the wheel, i need some help on this and the best procedure to do it.

I will update this thread as i spend more time in the boat! i will also post some pics when i get them this coming weekend.

I believe you should have at least two if not three sets of pre amp outputs on the backside of the head unit - I'll have to confirm with my 06 210 but those outputs are right, left and one for a sub - you could have the amp for cabin speakers on the right output and the tower amp on the left output - that would give you the fade you are looking for

sorry - it is front, rear and the third is non fade - if you have one amp on the front output(cabin speakers) and the tower amp on the rear output - you will be able to fade out the front (cabin speakers)
