sub setups for 03 210 super air

Hey guys. I just bought my 03 black 210 team it has the factory kicker sub in it and doesent do it any justice. I am looking to put 2 10's or 2 12's or maybe one twelve and would like to get some ideas of where to place the box and what will work or fit. so if anybody has any pics of their stereo setup or pics of box designs and what will sound good in the boat please post them i need more bass!!!!!! Yellow_Flash_Colorz: . I am upgrading all the interior speakers and already have defcon III tower speakers any pics and info would help thanks. or if you build custom boxes also give me a shout.

RE: sub setups for 03 210 super air

I have one 12" L7 Kicker Solobaric in a 1.5 cu ft box - use 3/4" MDF Ply wood - resin sealed inside and out and covered with Nautique Gray carpet purchased from Nautique dealer - $21 for a yard (5' x 3') - kicker 750.1 is mounted directly to the back of the sub box due to limited space under passenger seat in a 06 210 - plenty of bass but not just dumb bass - I'll get some pics

Here are the subs in my 01 SAN, there is more room in yours under the dash and under the pass storage area so you should have an easier fit than mine, this set up uses 3 JL w-7's in sealed boxes, 1 under the dash and 2 in the storage compartment.

All of the amps are hidden behind the side panels, I have one behind each side of the rear seat and another behind the side panel behind the throttle and then 2 more behind the side panel next to the observers seat for a total of 5. I run (8) blue top Optimas for the boat and system.

I am currently running a 140 amp alternator but will upgrade this winter to a Balmar unit. I run 2 batteries for the boat and 6 for the stereo but in no way does the alt. come close to bringing the batteries back up to full. If you are going to ask why do you run 2 batteries for the boat it is because I run right at 7000 watts and when you are cruising with the tunes up one battery will underpower my system and thats no bueno. I use a stinger built in battery charger that I plug into at night after coming off the water and then I plug it in for at least a week before I take the boat out.

Why so much BASS, because I can, what floats my boat might not float your's!

I don't have any pics right now, but I have 2 - 10" Comp VR's mounted in a box I made to sit just behind the driver's seat. It basically mimiks the cooler on the other side without the seat cushion. I didn't want a cushion, because that is the side I try to get everyone in and out on instead of stepping on the seats anywhere else. I will try and get some pics up soon. They fire down and the sound is great in the boat, and is a real clean look with factory carpet installed on it. Plus you get more seating. The ladies seem to like sitting there...
