No sound from speakers

I have a Jensen radio in my 97 sncb. The radio works, but I only here very faint sound from the speakers with it tuned to a radio station or with the mp3 plugged in. The plug-in was installed on the radio, and it looks like all the wires are connected exept for 1 blue wire. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Don't worry about the blue wire unless you have a power antenna or a separate amplifier, it acts as a remote turn on.

There's a lot of questions that can be asked regarding the wiring, but my first question would be have you checked the fader and made sure that it's set to the middle? I'm not sure if you have 2 or 4 speakers and if they are wired to the front or rear channels (or both), thus the reason for checking the fader.

Thanks for the response. There are 4 speakers and the fader and balance are set to zero. I tried to move them and there was no change.
