Does anyone know what size and brand the stock speakers are on a 2000 SAN? I believe they are 6.5inch round. I did a quick search and couldnt find anything on this specific boat. Also, how many of you run an amp to power your interior speakers?

not sure of the size but the amp will sound better - the stock stereos use an amp for the cabin four and the head unit for the bow - head units may produce 20 watts per speaker - the speakers can run at 100 or so - amps are the way to go2006 SANTE 210 (Pending Sale)

They are a 6.5 but they have that funky plastic mounting tube that causes lots of challenges. Get rid of the tube & pantyhose open up the hole and load them from the front, they will sound 100% better.Comment
