I am looking at adding a sub encloser for under the rear removable seat. Has anyone done this? If so where did you have it made?

RE: Custom Sub encloser SV211
yep... made it myself.

It's still kicking.
I didn't think the 6.5s would last so I bought some Infinity 10's and planned to make a new box. After a few times out and after swapping the 12 at the drivers feet to the wetsounds subwoofer I realized that I am quite happy, so the 10's are still in the wrapper.
I don't see any reason not to extend the seat all the way across the back of the boat. If I wanted to get into doing upholstery work I would make a new top too.

I actually just upgraded the front sub to a Boston SPG555 in a slot ported box. This one provides enough to keep me happy so I will sell the rear seat sub. I will sell it stripped ready for new carpet with speakers for $200 or with new black trunk carpet for $250.
Hit me up at mikeskiw@gmail.com if you are interested.

The design is borrowed from the Parts - Express Boogieman Subwoofer project.
http://www.parts-express.com/project...man/index.html
It's a stealthy little box that way outperforms most sealed 12" subwoofers. The placement in the back corner also helps transmit the subwoofer frequencies through the cabin of the boat.
The four 140 watt subs wired in a series/parallel combination yield a 4 ohm load and can handle 500 watts in total. They are very lightweight using neodymium magnets, the wood is lightweight cabinet board, the whole package is not very heavy to move to gain access to the drainplug.
Everybody that hears it is blown away by the amount of bass it produces.
