    2007 Sub location

    Hello to everyone,

I am fairly new to the site. I learned to wake board behind a Nautique and after wake boarding for a while I am getting ready to purchase a 2007 210. I was just wondering I would like to get the stereo work done at the dealership, but I have a few questions:

First is this a good idea to go through the dealership since they have the tower speakers and amps that I like? Or should I look into an outside installer?

Second they are installing the sub but they have told me that in the 2007 210 there is not enough room behind the kick panel to install it is this true? So they are just going to put it in an enclosure and store it under the spotter side storage area, does this look to "cheap" that way?

Thanks in advance for any help anyone can offer.

Take it to a car audio shop. They do custom work every day and specialize in audio.

You wouldn't have your Nautique engine serviced at Walmart cause they have the oil filter you want ...... would ya ??

I believe the 2007 sub from nautique is the same "bazooka" style sub enclosure that is under powered. Your best bet is to have the work done by a installer - you will get far more bass performance from a custom built sub box - I have a solobaric 12 with kicker 750.1 driving it - that one sub has more power to it than the entire factory install from nautique including tower speakers - look for NVS or wetsounds tower speakers - compare teh price for the Nautique speakers - it is $1600 for the nautique factory double can speakers - NVS Entitys or wetsounds are about $400 more and far superior in sound
