Got a new boat a couple of weeks ago and im trying to get it ready for next summer. I was wondering if anyone has completely replaced the subs and amps that come from the factory on the new boats. So far, I have put in two receivers by the driver so i can have different volume levels on the tower speakers and inside speakers. I'm not getting as much bass as i want and im not sure if its the sub, or the amps. Any help is appreciated

RE: new stereo for 08 220
Factory amps are good to power the cabin speakers -- I have the factory clarion 480 and 280 in my 06 210 running the six speakers - not sure if the 08 has similar setup - 480 for the 4 cabin and sub - 280 for tower - if similar the 480 is bridged for the sub (230 watts at 4ohms) and polk 10" ? single voice coil is 300 rms - I believe the lack of bass is the enclosure for the sub - I have the 480 running the 4 cabin the 280 (old tower amp ) running the 2 bow speakers and built a box for a 12" solobaric driven by a 750.1 kicker - NVS tower speakers are on a 850.4 - new sub is far more bass than the factory2006 SANTE 210 (Pending Sale)
