I have a "06 216 with the factory Clarion radio. I have four factory installed Polk cockpit speakers, two dealer installed Polk bow speakers, dealer installed Deafcon I tower speakers, and a dealer installed polk sub. All are powered by two dealer installed Clarion APX 480M amps. (I am not certain of my dealers abilities when it comes to stereos). I am currently switching out the Deafcon I's for Deafcon III's. I have an additional Clarion APX 280M that I am not using. I am not "stereo wise" but am able to read and learn. Any suggestions on how to hook up the Amps/Sub/Speakers would be appreciated. Would the system be better if I used all three amps? Thanks.

RE: I need Amp/Sub/Speaker install help
If your system was factory installed the tower speakers would be powered by the 280, the 4 cabin speakers and sub would be powered by the 480 and the bow speakers would be coming from the deck front channel. Using all 3 amps should give better sound/more power, do some searches as your setup has been discussed before.
