Powering second Clarion 480 Amplifier in SANTE 210 '06

I have a single factory installed CLARION APX480 powering my stereo in my 06 SANTE and am looking for how best to power a second APX480. Can I supply power to the second amp by connecting the battery wires in series with the factory installed amp, or do I need to run another set of power wires from the battery in the back of the boat?

Need to run a second set of wire - both a 12v pos and 12v neg - add a fuse at the battery end as well to protect the 12v pos wire - it is recomended that you use 8 guage wire for both the pos and neg side due to amp terminal size with a 50 amp fuse
