Docking Lights Advice

Hi, I have a 2000 Supersport with a flight control tower. I would like to install one or two docking / head lights for running at night. Does anyone have advice or pictures of an install to guide me ? Will one be enough, should I have two ? What size bulbs ? Also, will the stock single battery and charging system need to be "pumped" up? I have nothing other than a small amp and a set of 60w speakers now installed.

You don't want to use the docking lights while running at night. They should only be used near the shore at slow speeds. Otherwise they will actually make it harder to see. You might also get a ticket for using them while underway.

That being said, your stock electrical system should handle them fine, and you can order the pair from your dealer for a pretty reasonable price.

Jeff thanks for the reply. I guess I didn't know it was illegal to run with lights at night. It would still be nice to have them though.
