I just wanted to post a few pictures of the 2016 trailer that Ram-Lin built for the PN G23. You guys probably all know how much of a fan I am of Ram-Lin. I have had their trailers under every boat I have owned with the exception of one (and that one exception was TERRIBLE). Every year, Ram-Lin trailers seem to get better and better.
This year they have a new design for their G-series trailers. This was necessary to accommodate the steeper stem angle at the bow. I am not sure if anything else changed structurally, but I know that this new trailer tows noticeably better than the trailer I had last year, and there was certainly nothing wrong with the way last year's trailer towed. This one is smoother, and the weight seems to be better centered or something.
I also had Ram-Lin install electric brakes on this trailer. WOW, what a difference that made! I would recommend this option to EVERYONE who trailers a heavy boat like this. The difference in stopping power is incredible. It was even better than I had hoped for. I am running my brake controller on the lowest setting or sometimes the one next to the lowest setting, and that trailer stops FAST!
Ram-Lin also worked with SeaDek to match the SeaDek on the trailer to the custom SeaDek that is in the boat. It came out great!
