I haven't read this entire thread, but I have a friend who bought a used boat from Florida with a Ram-lin trailer.
I can say that I am very impressed. The trailer is rock solid and has a great look to it. Little things seem to be just a tad bit more sturdy than even my Boatmate trailers. The fact it is coated in rhino liner type material is testosterone pumping as well.
