Identify these on my Ramlin Trailer please?

Hello, bought our boat used, and apparently didn't ask enough questions about the trailer. Can anyone tell me what the two circled parts are on my trailer? I believe one is a surge brake "lock-out" but not sure what the hook shaped thing is. Its a 2011 Ramlin Trailer.

Thanks in advance. Click image for larger version

The hooked thing on the left you can lift up to ensure the breaks do not engage while backing up

Correct the hook is a manual reverse lockout for the brakes. The circle of the bolt you have is just a bolt that holds the guts to the surge brakes. However, the tab with the cable on it is just a retention tether for the pin that you place into the ball latch. There should be a pin at the end of that cable. Once the trailer is on the ball put the pin through the hole. This keeps the latch from accidentally opening during transit. Click image for larger version
