If you zoom in closer you get a better idea

This is what my current trailer has on it. I spoke incorrectly in a previous post and said that my trailer had diamond plate. My previous Boatmate trailer had diamond plate is what I meant to say. I never had any problems with that trailer rusting under the diamond plate in 6 years of ownership.

I will agree that this black non-skid rubber stuff does stay clean and new looking. Boatmate doesn't show is as an option when you build a custom trailer on their website. I think I may call them to see if it is still available.

Boatmate uses sea dek as standard equipment on all nautique trailers these days. i believe aluminum diamond plate is an option but i don't know why anyone would chose it. my 2017 trailer has Sea Dek.

I'm just concerned about how well Seadek will hold up and how good it will look after 4-5 years on a trailer.

just hand washed a 2011 malibu triple axle boat mate trailer yesterday. its been sitting under a tree and is covered in bird ****. there were red stains on the seadek, they came right out with some light scrubbing and simple green. metal gets hot, sea dek not so much. replacement seadek for the trailer is cheap too, like $100 for the whole trailer.

You could also do the non-skid type steps from earlier Nautique trailers like this https://www.nautiqueparts.com/produc...ailer-fenders/
