    Aluminum Trailer for a G23

I'm looking for some weight savings on a G23 Rig. Does anyone know if or have experience with an aluminum trailer for a G23? I cannot seem to find anyone that offers one.

    Thanks.

I found McClain Trailers. Evidently they have aluminum trailers for a G23. The Trailers only weigh 1100 lbs. Anyone heard of these?

I rock a Continental. Definitely not the sexiest looking but we do quite a bit of saltwater boating too. 1660lbs per the manufacturer. Model# A2485B-8500

That's a great looking rig! Thanks for sharing.

1,660lbs does not save me any weight ....bummer. I really need the weight savings to make this all work out with my existing vehicle.

Where do you need the weight to be?

              1100 lbs would be great.

**** it, I was going to look/ask around at the boat show and see if there was anything there in your weight range, but I just plain forgot. Sorry.

No worries. My dealer came up with one option but the weight savings is only 200 lbs.

Just curious, what is your tow vehicle? A 500 lbs. trailer savings will disappear if you ever have to add two biggish guys or some extra gear in the cab of the vehicle.

I had a Phoenix Aluminum I-Beam trailer on my Malibu 247.

although they save some weight and won't get rock chips in the paint... they do have more flex.

Trailer flex and slop is your enemy.
