    Trailer wheel size on 220?

    I have a 220 that came with 20" wheels with 275/45/20's.For me I'd prefer a bit more sidewall on the tires.I'd like to switch to 18's with a bit more sidewall.What size of tires are normally on these.

    not sure if there is a direct size swap, but you can use this to play around with the numbers.

    225/65-R18 tires are 0.23 inches (5.8 mm) smaller in diameter than 275/45-R20 tires and the speedometer difference is 0.8%

      If you do a (-2) calculation you come up with 255/65R18. You would have to check the tire sizing chart to see what the overall diameter comparison is. Then you would want to choose a rim with the correct offset so the outside edge of the tire is correct with the fender. Oh and probably get the "extra load" or load range E tires.
