Recommended kits for converting drum to disc brakes

I have a 2001 SAN on a dual axle Ramlin trailer. I am looking at converting the trailer to disc brakes and was seeing if anyone recommends a certain kit. The trailer only has drum brakes on the front axle but want to add disc brakes to both axles. Thanks for the help

I would call either these guys or ramlin. I dont know of the top of my head if this is going to require a new actuator or not, depending on how much hydraulic fluid/pressure it takes to actuate discs vs drums and going to both axles.

You will most likely need a new actuator and will need to switch to 5 pole connector that disables the breaks in reverse.

Why do you want to switch to disk brakes?

these guys helped me convert from oil bath single disc to greased bearing double disc on my trailer. the folks in Tennessee actually were engineers on the phone and understood exactly what I needed to do. http://www.ufpnet.com/

Does your tow vehicle have a brake controller? If so, I would go with electric brakes and dump the hydraulic all together.

Note: These are just an example...I don't know if they will actually fit your setup.

I ended up going with a UFP disk brake kit through Pacific Trailers. Installation was straight forward and so far so good. I recommend anyone with drum brakes to convert over to disk, so much easier to maintain.
