    Dorsey trailer wheel bearing questions

Going on a 1800mi round trip w/ the boat in the next couple days. Inspecting bearings before I go. Trailer has disc brakes. Pulled the hub assembly, rotor came with it. Expected that the outer bearing would come out easy and I could inspect both it and the race, but it didn't. Seems like there's an outer race to the outer bearing. Doesn't seem like it would fit through the hole (even if it was lose) unless that shiny metal ring was gone in the picture. I can't even be sure thats not machined in and not a race.

Anyone have experience w/ a setup like this. Visually as it stands, things look good to go to me. If i had to vote, I would just re-pack with new grease and call it good. Don't want to gamble, so taking input on this.

    Thanks

I have never seen anything like that on the outer bearing? Contact Dorsey and ask or info.
