G23 Trailer Capacity w/ 18" Wheels

I'm ordering a G23 now. I'm debating between a double axle with EOH brakes or a triple with Surge Brakes. 15" wheels for me. After reading this post, sounds like the Triple is the way to go. Thanks GreggMck!

Before you fully lock in on your trailer decision you may want to simply call Boatmate and walk them through your typical use case. They may add some important data points to your decision. It was very helpful for me when I ordered the trailer for my G23.

I was going through the same problem literally a month ago. It was between tandem 15” or triple. Decided to go tandem just because of the cost and the fact we have a 1 ton truck. If you tow with anything smaller I would go triple.

I talked with a few dealer friends and they all asked what are you towing with.
