    Replacing trailer bunks

    Hi,

Looks like I need to replace my carpeted bunks on my trailer. My bunks are 2x6 with std marine carpet.

Has anyone put the plastic bunks from Ultimate Bunk Boards under their ski nautique?

    https://www.ultimatebunkboards.com/s...al-gray-detail

I trailer a lot as my boat is a garage queen, so I'd love to not have constantly wet carpet bunks.

    Thanks

Im about to purchase a '94 SN and was told first thing I need to replace the bunks, I've looked at Gatorbak as well as the Ultimate bunk boards you mention. Did you try these? Did anyone pm you since no one responded to your post?

    Thanks,
    Tony

I think I was the first to install, I have been very happy with them. Make sure you check the distance between supports as the UBB’s have more flex.

These make unloading and loading the boat super easy. Just make sure you leave the winch strap secured as you back it down the ramp as if it’s not and you hit the brakes hard half way down it could slide on you.

The max length is 12’ - so depending on your trailer it might not be long enough. My OEM bunk was 12’ 5”, so I asked the guy at UBB to not trim off the 2-3” of extra length the 12’ have when he gets them.

Thanks for the quick reply, so these don't mark your hull? (since they don't have padding)

They definitely seem to be the most obvious choice for longevity since they have no wood involved
