Ramlin trailer and garage fitment

Just bought a new house that has a garage depth of 22 ft 2 inches of depth and 6 ft 10 inches of height. I think from searching on here, that height wise I will be able to make it work. My trailer although doesn’t have a swing tongue. Could anyone explain to me what these extra holes on my tongue do? Or would I be better to get the tongue cut and do a swing?

Those are so the bow stop can be moved so that the trailer will fit different models of Nautiques from that era.

It appears that you might be able to remove the front part of the tongue by removing the bolt right behind where the turnbuckle mounts to the frame of the trailer. Maybe not though, since your trailer has brakes.

Thanks Jeff. I have seen some of the ramlin swing options that some of these trailers were optioned with that utilize that area. Any chance they are still available?

If you have a flexible brake line (rubber hose) that may be a removable tongue... With the pull pin on the bow stop it makes me think it is. If so, still be very careful with the brake line not to pinch or crease it.
