Ram-Lin No Longer Making Trailers for Nautiques

I am very sad to report that Ram-Lin is no longer making trailers for Nautiques! I must have gotten one of the very last ones this year.

I never had a single issue with their trailers in all the years I have owned them. I am going to miss those trailers!

That's surprising, why would a top notch trailer manufacturing company with the reputation they have get out of the business?
any insight as to why? Are they shutting down or just not making trailers?

Over the past few years, Ram-Lin has diversified into a number of different products and services. My guess is that they want to concentrate their efforts on whatever is most profitable for them.

I bet the margins are thin. The new Boatmate trailer I bought in 2007 was $5000 and the new Boatmate trailer I bought in 2017 was $5000. Unfortunately the 2017 boat did not cost the same as the 2007 boat.

Boat sale numbers are way down, while boat revenues are up, that’s not too good for trailer makers. Sea Ray is even up for sale.

I herd Boatmate has bought out Ramlin traliers
Ramlin make the towers & other small parts for Nautique are they still making them Jeff or have they closed up?

Ram-Lin never made the towers. Most current Nautique towers are made by Diamondback. Ram-Lin does paint them for Nautique though.

I personally thought for the $$$$ the boat mate came MUCH better equipped and looked much cooler. I did not know ramlin painted the towers for Nautique though.
