SN 196 length on trailer storage size?

I have a 2009 SN 196 LTD with a Phoenix single axle trailer (with swing tongue) under contract. The boat is at a MasterCraft dealer 750 miles from me, I plan to travel to check it out Friday and finalize the purchase. I live in Vermont so our water ski season won't begin until late April. I am going to store the boat for two months. The dealer measured the boat from the stern(platform removed) to the swing tongue pivot to be 244” or 20’ 4”. Has anybody been able to fit a 196 into a 10’x20’ storage unit?
    Previous Boats:
    99 MasterCraft SportStar(95-97 ProStar Hull)
    98 Moomba Boomerang
    88 MasterCraft Powerslot

Sounds like getting enough angle to make it fit will be tight. Can you rent a 25' or 30' space?

10ft is not wide enough. I squeezed a 99 ski nautique into a 10 ft wide storage unit and literally had 1cm clearance on each side. Getting it out was next to impossible. Also, the unit was advertised as 10 ft wide, but the door frame was actually several inches less than that.
Definitely don't let this stop you from buying though!
