Properly rated hitch ball and mount recommendation?

I want to replace my ball and mount on my hitch with a new one. I'll be pulling a G23 and I don't need a drop down.

Any suggestions for a good place or model?

Or this one for almost half the price. But you're not looking for a drop mount, so you could get something simpler and less expensive than either of these.

I did not need a drop down either. I just went to tractor supply....found a regular ball mount that either curved up slightly or down slightly (actually wanted mine to go up about an inch since I pull with 1500 truck and that is what it takes to ride level since I have 19" rims on my trailer), it was solid piece with no welds and rated for 16k lbs. Think it was like $30. Then I bought a ball rated for 12k lbs. I only use this one for pulling boat, I have a tri for other trailers and it works out good cause I just ordered rock guard flaps that i will attach to that specific mount (so I can remove entire set-up when not towing boat). Decided I better add rock guards since I just switched from the factory tires, to BF Goodrich KO2 tires. Because of AT tread pattern, they will pick up gravel and other debris a lot easier and kick it up and I want to protect my black hull. Another bonus is the tires are 10ply, so lot more resistant to punctures, handle more weight, can run with higher psi which will make them last longer and better "grab" on boat ramps.

I’ve got a 3 ball tri mounted with a 2 1/2” diameter which is so much better than the sleeve on the HD trucks. Always have the three sizes of hitches and they’re rated for over 10k

Where did you get a 3 ball with that rating? All of the ones I’ve seen have been 3-5k.

It’s so handy to have all three sizes ready to go. Seems silly that boatmate doesn’t go to a the 2 5/16”

I bought the Curt adjustable, awesome. Probably the last one I’ll ever buy.
