    trailer help

    i am having some scraping loading the boat

    Not sure how you got those marks, but carpeted bunks should not leave such marks.

    Did you check that there is no stapple on the bunk sides touching the gelcoat? Stapples should be below the bunks (underside). Did you also check that lag screws if used do not go through. If they used bolts, check that they are properly countersunk.

    Cannot answer about what you find on ebay as carpeted bunks should leave no mark if you make sure they are wet before loading the boat.

    If still under warrantly check with your dealer, but something seeems wrong somewhere.

      look all over the bunks . look good just have blue where the gel is coming off load the boat a new way hope it helps

        I don’t think I would go with the eBay option. I was considering replacing my carpet Gatorbak (sp?) until we bought the lake house.

        Yes, those scrapes would kill me, you need to get this problem solved!

          The only way to avoid scrapping the hull is to not power load the boat on/off the trailer. Ideally you want to float the boat on/off the trailer.
          All hulls will scratch from power loading it is just much more noticeable on the colored hulls.

              Is there a benefit to power loading? I have always floated mine on too.
