Ram-Lin makes lots of different metal parts for many applications, including some things for the military. They did not have the capacity to do everything that they did, so they eliminated the things that they made the least return on, which happened to be boat trailers.

How steep is your driveway? We have the same issue and holding off the new purchase of a G23 until we redo the house and garage, got a pic or know what the gradient is?

dnccowell Here's a picture of my driveway. It doesn't look too steep in this picture, but it really is. Backing a trailer down is no problem until you get to the bottom where it levels off. At that point, I am on the prop guard rollers of most trailers for about 6-8 feet. The rear wheels of most trailers lift right off the ground until my truck drops down low enough to get the trailer back on its wheels.

This driveway leads to my boat ramp, so I use it a lot for moving boats around.

The EZ Loader went right down with no issues, and the prop guard rollers never even hit the ground. This is the only trailer I have had that has not needed the rollers on my driveway.

My boatmate has at least 6 inches of clearance on the prop guard. Don’t see how it would ever be a problem
