Need Trailer Help - Will my 1988 SN fit on a 2012 200 Trailer?

We had an accident and we need a new trailer. Insurance is cutting a check, but we'd like to see if we could buy a used trailer and use some of the extra insurance money to do some needed repairs. A guy is selling a used 2012 trailer from a SN 200. We have a 1988 Ski Nautique 2001. Does anyone know if the boat would ride safely and securely on this trailer?

That will not be a good fit. The bunks will be way out of place, and the trailer will be too long, giving you more tongue weight than you should have. I used a 200 trailer under a TSC Ski Nautique for a little while, and it was OK after some bunk modifications, but a 1988 is not going to fit a 200 trailer without serious modification.

Great, thank you so much for that info. I was concerned when I saw how different the beams were between the 88 and 2012. You saved us a trip and potential headache of having to either modify or resell a trailer! Really appreciate it!
