Correct Craft Single Axle Trailer Repair or Scrap?

Just got a "new" Ramlin trailer for my 1994 196. Original trailer was in bad shape. It is a correct craft single axle. Does not have lights or brakes [had drum/surge], and carpet is in terrible shape. It rolls fine, but the tires would need to be replaced as well. I'm thinking I would be spending at least $500 to make $500/break even.

Should I scrap it or repair and sell? Wife says get it out of the yard.

List it cheap on Craigslist as-is. Give it a week and if it doesn’t sell take it in for scrap. You want to keep your wife happy!

Lots of rust on the fenders but hows the actual frame? If the frame is solid I'd sell cheap as stated above. Scrap is near nothing these days for iron so if you can move it for more than a couple hundred dollars you're ahead and someone gets a trailer.

If the fame is rusted through scrap it so someone doesn't kill you or one of us on the road with it.

Good advice..That’s what I’m leaning towards, not worth the risk.
