Smindustries.....I stand corrected. I tried the hooks again like the video shows....had to adjust to the right angle....BUT...they did work. I just remember trying it with the utility trailer big hooks and couldn't get them to fit. The new Boatmate hooks will work as long as you do exactly as the video shows. Thanks for sharing!! No Carabiner clips for now.

I use carabiners rated at 70 Kn (15,750lbs) each, because they are much easier to connect to. On long trips or with heavy loads I don't use them.
